Kitty graduated as a Physiotherapist from Edinburgh, Scotland in 1981. Initially working at Greenwich District Hospital in London. Her career path has been extensively in Community Health, working in Bristol and Edinburgh in the UK and later Braybrook Community Health Centre in Melbourne and in Rehabilitation at the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre and the Epworth Hospital, in Melbourne.
Kitty has specialist skills in Hydrotherapy, she was the Senior Clinician in Hydrotherapy at Royal Talbot and whilst raising her family jointly managed a successful company called Aquamums which ran Pre and Post-natal water based exercise classes throughout Melbourne.
Prior to setting up Home Care Physiotherapy, Kitty was working in a private practice based at the Essendon Private Hospital in Melbourne. She started Home Care Physiotherapy in 2005 when recognising a growing need for home physiotherapy.
Kitty’s principle areas of interest are Aged Care, Chronic Disease Management and Rehabilitation. She enjoys working with the older client, addressing their often complex needs, with a focus on their whole wellbeing.
